Here is my new avatar as it is supposed to look.

Ok, now I actually noticed the effect, contrast between red shades is really awful here...
As for "this" Dexter, never had heard of it, but the plot concept seems nice. Something I might end up watching should it eventually get broadcasted around here.

27... for the record, as of now I've seen failed cuts with 18, ~36 and 49 seconds penalty.  ;)

T?ff's new avatar is ugly. :D

I first thought of the cartoon after seeing it, then went like "damn, maybe I'm missing something due to this monitor not displaying green..."  :D

They don't really have other useful strategical alternatives for now, I reckon. As it seems, my question may remain unanswered 'till deadline...  ;)

I stumbled across another remake on the net: Tile R?cer, an Austrian project currently at version 0.65. This one looks promising, with nice physics which do not compromise the arcade feel and great graphics (quite demanding on the computer, however).  This version has most of the essentials already functional, including an editor with many of the essential pieces available (no import for the moment, though). Here is the screenshot on the site entrance:

This one is a self-made screenshot which does not make much justice to the graphics (I have to use low quality textures and 800x600 in order to run the game realtime). The track element you can see is a quite surprising banked road underpass... :P

Better screenshots and demonstration videos can be found at the project site, http://tiler acer.model-view.com (remove the blank and paste the address, this is due to the pipsqueak transformation, etc.)

@ Krys: "no surprises" is often the riskiest prediction  ;) But I'd like to see Spain winning as well - and that would be a surprise!

Same for me with my new computer. That's why it's always useful to keep old computer when you buy a new one.

My old, faithful Athlon is well dead - I'm using what should be our secondary PC right now (still haven't bought that C2D I used to mention). But I have not given up entirely of DOS yet...

My bets on the top five:

1. Mark
2. Ayrton
3. BJ
4. Argammon
5. Zak

Well, I supposed those special events were raced without teams due to the different atmosphere. If Mark is fine with it, however, I wouldn't mind...

And now the real question for the remaining days: is the predicted winning time possible, did CTG omitted "mandatory" (?) penalty time or he simply commited a typo??  ;D

Oh, and thx CTG  ;)

CTG and I said to focus on a single contest where we have more possibilities to win/make great results with our team unit (usc)

An easier solution could be relaxing and racing individually, just for fun... Oh well, nevermind.

Anyway, I still think this poll miss Duplode's car.

On those hard/tight USC tracks of late? You would kill me... :D

As for Corvette, I don't know exactly what to say - except I almost wish I used some more creativity and hadn't voted on it now...

Duplode: what the hell happened to Corinthians???

What, our favourite joke topic this week? :P A seriously inept squad paired with administartive screw-ups. They squandered a ludicrous number of chances of escaping relegation, and in fact would have gone down long ago wasn't for Felipe, their GK, having perfect games round after round (seriously, the guy is brilliant). That's what you get by putting in charge a dirty freakin' corrupt board and setting obscure deals with Russian tycoons, I reckon...  ::)

What is that supposed to mean?!

Nothing, just smiling on CTG's cute curiosity...
