Will Rokker and Boller push out Akoss from the podium?

Will Ayrton re-appear?

CTG

I won't improve my current lap. It's not worth. Several pipsqueaks can beat it easily, if they are motivated enough.

Have you ever played a game from sheet? I've spent about 20 hours to reproduce my ZCT61 replay without hexeditor editing, watching the keypresses list from a printed paper and trying, trying, trying. It was pure waste of time.

1200 beats per minute would be quite an accomplishment for even the most skilled virtuoso  :o

Per minute? ???
Knowing the keypress codes (from paper), it was easy to reproduce most of the 0.2-0.5 seconds long sections (e.g. when you accelerate only). The hardest part to reproduce was surprisingly an "easy" one in 2006.

I have a replay driven up to time T I want to drive 05 05 05 29 29 09 09 09 01 01 01 (F1 heating tires procedure :) ).

plan B: drive 05 05 05 05 05, rewind it 0.10, drive 29 29 09 09 09 09 09, rewind it 0.10, drive 01 01 01.

Friker's plan B became reality.

     KEYBOARD EVENT BLOCK

At  offset  0x0722 (new format: 0x0724)  the keyboard event block begins.
Each  event  is  represented  by one byte  and  can  consist of up to six
     simultanously keypresses (in theory).

The  following chart shows how keypresses  are encoded. If a specific bit
is set the corresponding key was pressed, if the bit is clear the key has
     been released.

                           Bit 76543210   Keyboard event
                               ????????
                               ???????+-- Accelerate key pressed
                               ??????+--- Brake key pressed
                               ?????+---- Right key pressed
                               ????+----- Left key pressed
                               ???+------ Shift up key pressed
                               ??+------- Shift down key pressed
                               +--------- Unused (should be 0)

6 keys - in practice, you can press only two or three. I wonder if some unbelievable magic carpet replays in the past contained some 3+ key code...

00 - nothing
01 - accelerate
02 - brake
04 - right
05 - right + accelerate
06 - right + brake
08 - left
09 - left + accelerate
0A - left + brake
10 - shift up
11 - shift up + accelerate
12 - shift up + brake
14 - shift up + right
15 - shift up + right + accelerate
16 - shift up + right + brake
18 - shift up + left
19 - shift up + left + accelerate
1A - shift up + left + brake
20 - shift down
21 - shift down + accelerate
22 - shift down + brake
24 - shift down + right
25 - shift down + right + accelerate
26 - shift down + right + brake
28 - shift down + left
29 - shift down + left + accelerate
2A - shift down + left + brake

It seems they couldn't but we can't deny they tried. Their skills are getting better, congratulations. Podium with auto-transmission, well done!

I guess the hidden replays are not revealed yet.

Oh! I can't wait to see the final results then.

Of course, in the evening. It's a bit different line compared to the ZCT61 replay.

However, my old replay's reconstruction should be erased from the scoreboard (lacking novelty) - it would not change the rankings.
