Forever Kimi Räikkönen, testing the shortcuts in Interlagos!  ;)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DIvt-D26CoQ

Yeah, maybe the funniest moment of this season (even I knew from F1 games that this certain road has a dead end).
It used to be opened before, Kimi said so in an interview. He did that in '01 and came back to the track on the next corner

It is closed both in F1 2002 and 2009.

But it is not closed in Google Maps when you check it with Streeview. I think it is closed only when F1 is racing but it is not always closed.

Good thing I can't donate blood.
Sure, you can't donate when there is more alcohol than red cells in your blood. :P ;D 8)

Maybe you mixed up the Hungarians, Zak is an anti-alcoholist. ;D
I know, I posted it to make him and you react. ;D

Imbecility. :)
So, I'm back after a good night and I think I found the best song.

It could have been easy to quote a song talking about stupidity or foolishness, but I won't.

Why ? Because imbecility doesn't mean stupidity, it means lack of intelligence, the opposite of cleverness. That is an idea that seemed clever to the ones having it, but was just showing their lack of intelligence.

So I was thinking of a song talking about what is/was a real big lack of intellect. Then, best example coming to my mind was the cold war : building enough bombs to be able to destroy earth 10 times was definitively the most imbecil idea the human being ever had in my opinion.

So, logically, the best song to talk about that is Russians, by Sting.

In Europe and America
There's a growing feeling of hysteria
Conditioned to respond to all the threats
In the rhetorical speeches of the Soviets

Mr. Khrutchev said "We will bury you"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
It'd be such an ignorant thing to do
If the Russians love their children too...

How can I save my little boy
From Oppenheimer's deadly toy ?
There is no monopoly in common sense
On either side of the political fence

We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Russians love their children too...

There is no historical precedent
To put the words in the mouth of the President
There's no such thing as a winnable war
It's a lie we don't believe anymore

Mr. Reagan says "We will protect you"
I don't subscribe to this point of view
Believe me when I say to you
I hope the Russians love their children too...

We share the same biology
Regardless of ideology
What might save us, me and you,
Is if the Russians love their children too...

Mmmm, that one is interesting. Many songs could fit more or less, I need to find the best one.
I'll go to sleep first. A good night will help me chose wisely the proper song to quote. ;)

Easy one : Evil Dick by Body Count. 8)

Evil dick likes warm, wet places,
Evil dick don't care about faces.
Evil dick likes, young, tiny, small spaces,
Evil dick leaves little gooey telltale traces.
Evil dick.

(...)
Late at night evil dick he comes to me he says,
'don't sleep alone, don't sleep alone.'
Late at night evil dick he wakes me up he says, 'don't sleep alone,
Don't sleep alone, don't sleep alone, don't sleep alone, don't sleep aloooooooooone.'

Here is my song for today : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ts_x6FCUoKg

Look at the guitarist face all along the video. I like his crazy grin face. ;D

Musically quite good. The singer can't really sing, and the lyrics have zero connection with the song. It's like riding through the evening streets of Paris in a Land Rover.
Yes, lyrics have some poetry but when you don't have the English translation you can't even think of such lyrics with this heavy music. ;D

My song of the day is a very funny one, a good old classic from the Danish band Disneyland After Dark (aka D*A*D) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9fbSC4koiU

Without his tyre issue in last laps of Chinese race, Kimi would have not only finish all races of the season, but also finish them all in points.
This is not only luck, this is also talent. Talent is the thing Grosjean is missing for example. :P

By the way, Vettel is the luckiest this season, no doubt. Even with a collision with Senna he managed to finish the race without mechanical issue.

On the other hand, Lewis was by far the unluckiest of the 2012 season.

I bought Diablo 3 in March! Did you Krys?
No, and I won't. I don't want to buy any game that requires an online connection to be activated and/or played. What companies do now is just killing the idea of abandonware. When Diablo 8 will be released in 15 years while only a dozen of people will still be playing Diablo 3 Blizzard will close Diablo 3 servers. Or when Blizzard company will close its doors, or whatever makes Blizzard servers to be closed. When this will happen, you won't be able to play Diablo 3. Never, ever.

It makes me sick to see companies acting like that. When I buy a game I don't know if I will still play it in 10 or 20 years, but I like to feel I can still play it whenever I would like. With Diablo 3 or some other new games, I know I won't be able to play them when company will decide to stop its dedicated servers.

Just like online gaming with my former x-box. Microsoft closed the original x-box live servers because there were too few people still playing online games there. Same will happen one day or another with X-box 360 servers and so on...

At least, I can still play offline with my x-box games, even if online multiplayer is now impossible. But with Diablo 3 you will not even be able to play home alone the game you bought the day Blizzard will close the dedicated servers. That's a fact. And it makes me sick.

What companies are doing nowadays with all games bought "dematerialized" (ie only bought online, you don't buy a physical CD/DVD) like with steam, or like Diablo 3 and its mandatory online access to Blizzard servers, all of this is just a way to avoid people re-sell games they have finished and they don't want to play anymore, to avoid people will less money being able to buy games cheaper a few years after at cash converters or ebay, and to kill any potential abandonware in the future.

I don't want that, so I don't buy any dematerialized version of any game, nor games that require an online version even to play solo.

Thinking of this makes me angry, so, in order to get back to the topic, I need some music with anger. I think this one is quite suitable : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NzLsxco7Dk

I honestly didn't know there was a cultural difference between Baldur's Gate and Diablo. It's interesting to hear that there is.
Diablo is a rogue-like game with RPG elements. Baldur's Gate is a RPG game with rogue elements. ;D

Thanks ! Gainsbourg will remain one of the greatest French songwriter ever. 8)
Yet, nobody can claim to sing a Gainsbourg's song better than Serge "God" Gainsbourg himself did. :P

Queen topic coming up?
Why not ? ;)

Anyway, my "song of the day" today is Colombian : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZXlgNMDK3E

The first time I heard this band was during an episode of Dexter (not Dexter's laboratory cartoon, I mean Dexter Morgan, the serial killer :P).
It was the 4th or 5th season (I don't remember) when the cop team was in a night club and the song was performing and I thought "wow, this is something special, worth searching for". I finally found what it was a few days later and kept it in my mind to go back listening it from time to time. Today is one of those times. :D

I really need to give another try to set up DOSBox properly for Stunts use with my current computer (settings I had for previous one don't work). :o

uninstall and reinstall latest version with default settings. It should work perfect.
I was still using 0.7 version, so I'll try that. Thanks for the tip. ;)

OMG Krys why why why in the hell you show this? It made my morning funnier :D
I'm happy if you liked it. It's quite funny to see indeed. The girls re-invented the "hell's horns sign" and made it into a "fow sign" (check the original BabyMetal trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNPNtteE-nw&list=PLBjHl6w8pExm6VU4z1VYgeLylHUsF3bnO&index=2

Not sure I'll be able to listen a full album of them though, Doki doki Morning song is enough for me. ;D Yet, those interested can check their official channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/BABYMETALofficial?feature=watch

lol, I remind this one, it was displayed on the radio when I was teenager. Sommerville was slim at this time, then he formed Communards and started to become fat. :D

Anyway, personnally in the 80's I prefered to listen that :
