Binary doesn't look cool, except when numbers are dropping from top of screen to the bottom and are written in green. Yeah, I'm still a Matrix fan. (but 2nd and 3rd movies are disposable, 1st one is the best).

Could Duplode and SB make their stance?

I guess Duplode will stay in Cork's Crew. If you want to be his teammate, you should apply at "Cork" himself.

Damage can be a fine choice for you, especially if Krys keeps racing. Maybe he seems to be slow now but believe me: he's damned good when he takes it seriously. No further comments about Super Brian, you saw his performance in November. I can imagine Damage with Töff, Brian, you and dreadnaut.

I don't know if I will keep racing regularly or not and honestly I fear I won't (except if... but probably the if will never happen so forget it).

SB + Friker + Dreadnought (errr, no, Dreadnaut ) seems like a good team. All they need now is a cool team name (brainstorm yourselves a few guys )

Regarding last race, it was a 10-minutes done replay. I'm quite rusty after more than 2 years far from competition, and a non-fluent game doesn't help much. I tried different DOSBox settings last week-end, and I'm confident I'll finally find proper DOSBox settings, but so far it's still not like good old DOS. I should have kept my old Win98 + pure MS-DOS computer just for oldies, it's a pain to find proper DOSBox settings for each old game I want to play. For point & click adventure games or strategy games it's not a real issue, but it is for racing games.

Me too. It's not as good as you think. Take 5 women, close them in the same room and they are going to kill eachother. Or at least you will experience incredible malice, machination and hate between them.

I'm not really active but here is my 2 cents :
- any LTB is globally a good idea to keep pipsqueaks active along the month instead of racing only during quiet days
- I agree with Akoss on this point : race winner with no bonus should get more points than 2nd driver with bonus(es).
- linear point system is not good for podiumers. In FTT competition (I abandonned suddenly when life had its own priorities, sorry again) point system was that last driver would get 1 point, and all pipsqueaks will get 1 more point than the pipsqueaks behind them, except the 2nd who will get 2 points more than the 3rd driver and the winner who will get 2 points more than the 2nd driver. That kind of system could be adapted, and it would proably be easier to understand for newcomers than 0.1, 0.09, 0.08... points given for pipsqueaks 13th to last.

This system has 2 benefits IMO :
- winning is rewarded better than with a constant point system like Kalpen competition, because winning has to be rewarded,
- winning versus 5 pipsqueaks is rewarded less than winning versus 10 pipsqueaks, because it's easier to win a 5 players race.

This system has also some weaknesses :
- ending 4th in a 10 players race will give as much points than winning of a 5-players race (7 points, without any bonus), which is far from perfect,
- maybe an average finish rank should compensate the system (a kind of "opposition level bonus), because a 5-players win versus Ayrton+Renato+Argy+Duplode (or CTG, or BJ, ... no offence, it's just an example ) is an exploit compared to winning a 10-players win versus 9 guys as crappy as I am (especially now after almost 3 years of non-competition and a game still not running fluently on my current computer). :p.

Hyperactivity!

Many people tend to be hyperactive nowadays, wanting everything right here right now, unable to chill out. An era of hyperconnectivity and hyperactivity is emerging. Even if it is for nothing, many people need to show they're here, that they have a kind of "actuality", because people forget even faster than before.
Madonna is a good example of that kind of hyperactivity.

When I'm told hyperactivity, I answer to calm down. Life is too short to do everything you wish to do anyway, why take time to live the moment, that's my way of life.
