Quote from: HerrNove on January 18, 2026, 03:48:09 PMWell, I managed to implement a quick fix in the assembly.

Nice work! Thank you for putting in the time and effort to figure this out.

Quote from: HerrNove on January 18, 2026, 03:48:09 PMI'll add it to the next SuperSight release.

Looking forward to it! :)

Quote from: HerrNove on December 14, 2025, 08:59:51 PMThanks for your report!

You're welcome! :) After some further testing, I've discovered that the crashes only occur if you set the DOSBox CPU core to "dynamic".

This looks great! We're no longer restricted to Need for Speed II if we want to drive this car. Thank you! :)

That's some great investigative work! That bug has been bugging me (pun intended) for ages. ;)

Quote from: Cas on December 29, 2025, 03:01:30 AMThis could be analysed by changing a sphere's diameter and observing the changes in the explosion, I guess.

I don't think that would be useful, as Foxpup explained:

Quote from: Foxpup on December 29, 2025, 12:42:05 AMA car model will exhibit the bug if and only if it has at least one sphere primitive; the number, size, location, and orientation of the sphere(s) seems to make no difference. Even a zero-size sphere at the model's origin will produce the bug.

I've decided to take a break from ZakStunts this year, which means Rolling Stunts will have a vacancy.

I've been testing the latest version for quite some time now, and while it works great for the most part, I've been experiencing occasional random crashes, whereas previous versions never did.  Today I discovered a way to repeatedly replicate a crash, so I thought I'd report it.  Here is the procedure:

  • Start the game with the graphic level set to "FULL".
  • Go to the car selection menu.  The Countach should be selected by default.
  • Continuously cycle through the different colours.

After about 15 seconds, the game will crash.  I've experienced in-game crashes as well, but I haven't figured out a way to repeatedly replicate those.

Welcome @Foxpup!  It's great to see another Australian in the Stunts community.  Which part of Australia are you from?

Competition 2025 / Re: Cloned replays, ZCT285 to 292
November 21, 2025, 08:52:17 AM
This is unfortunate to hear.  I was under the impression that this kind of thing was checked automatically, but perhaps that only applies to replays that are cloned in their entirety.  @dreadnaut or @Duplode, can you confirm if that's the case?

As I mentioned in the message room, this is the same replay that you posted on 5/9/2025, which is invalid because you skipped the first corkscrew.  I hope you can post a valid OWOOT replay before the deadline.  If you're having trouble interpreting the rules, please let us know. :)
