Quick update on ZCT283: I currently have two sketches unrelated to each other. I'm not satisfied with any of them right now, but something is going to come out of it -- hopefully within this evening, as I'm already late

For instance, is a race with unlimited RH and a deadline of 15 minutes a live race? What if we change the deadline to 60 minutes?

As a rule of thumb, if it requires some kind of coordination for a day and time for pipsqueaks we can call it a "Live race".

I think we are mixing up two different things:
1- the simultaneity of the race (do all drivers race at the same time like a live race or do they race when they want during a longer span of time?)
2- the sending/posting of replays and results. Live races are submitted through some form of mailing (the forum), we don't get "live results"

So a "Live race" does not necessarily contradict a "correspondence race". Maybe we can get live results once @Erik Barros gets the lap counter up for broadcasting

I think RH benefiting slower or faster cars depends on each pipsqueak. In my personal experience (and not counting the obvious most benefited PG cars), I find myself closer to RH level on high speed cars than slow cars when racing NoRH

It looks like I'll be flying solo this season. Let's see if I can keep up with team play

As I said before, I intended to join DPS but decided I won't if it means me or someone else becoming a non-scoring member, so if there are other teams willing to take me in, I'm listening to offers.

I intend to race pretty much seriously the entire year but anything may happen in real life and put a stop to it

What about Discord? It can be used somewhat similar to Telegram (as simply a messaging app, even with live chatrooms) and also act as a forum of some kind, creating channels as needed

What about simply reducing carry-over ratio? That way carry-over would have a lesser impact

We should also see if teams are going to suffer any changes... I intended to join DSP but I don't want to be (or cause others to be) a non-scoring member and I would reconsider joining a different team to make Team competition more entertaining as well
