I'm working in a new season of 4dsL. Everybody is invited to join the competition in 2027!!

A friend of mine is working with me writing the site automation code thanks to the help of @Cas . If everything goes as expected, the season will start the 1st of January 2027. The 2027 championship will run for a full year and consist of 12 races. We will drive fast racing cars but mainly Porsche March INDY.

I'll keep informing about the progress of the site in this thread. I think we made a good progress on code but it takes time. Meanwhile, I'm working on the site design and in the terrain where the 12 tracks will take place. I made the terrain full map and started to build the tracks. The season will take place in a new continent of twelve consecutive tracks. I attached a picture of the world map below. The idea is to race on tracks designed for specific cars. So we could have different scenarios to race such as mountains, city or coastal tracks.

I have the time, motivation and the workforce.
I'm a little excited about this project, I hope you'll like it too!

Hey guys I found a highscore from my old Stunts BB 1.0 copy. It's from 1997 when I raced competitions against the game opponents in several tracks. It seems at least I already beaten a Porsche March Indy Skid Vicious with my Porsche 962 . Anyway I had an amateur pipsqueak level just like most of us before joining the community.



PS: "Pato" was me and the metal band names was my brother known in the community as "Manowar"

What the title means? Will be the time for a monster truck or a faster car?

I've never thought about zct300 until 2023 or 2024 It looked so far... and now it's the present. Who will win? Who will come? How many we'll be on the track? I hope to see many historical racers, not only champions. Everybody racing this track!

The name Kimberley is because a small football club in Mar del Plata city. Short story: They lent their team jerseys to the French national football team so they could play the match versus Hungary in the World Cup 1978. They were racing against the clock. Just like you!

Rules:
There are 2 + 1 stages.

Stage 1 - Fog race
Skid Vicious time: 7:15.85


Stage 2 - Night race
Skid Vicious time: 7:46.80


Stage 3 - Day race
Skid Vicious time: 6:38.75


Every race will last 12 minutes. You have to finish your lap as fast as you can. Since the event will be broadcasted we can check fast if the rules are fulfilled and also if your game stops at the 10th minute we can see the point you stoppped (it shouldn't happen because the tracks aren't that long and it's shared a week before the race to have time to make all the test laps you want).
You have to share your replay by uploading it to the forum as usual. If you couldn't end the lap at *time the last frame of your lap will be taken from the broadcast as your official location.

*it could be because you lost much time using RH or if you couldn't finish the track before 10 minutes.

If all pipsqueaks finishes before 12 minutes we can step forward the next stage to save time. We can do the chekings at the end if we lack of time.

There will be Stage winners and a Rally winner. Furthermore, a Jump master for every stage and for the Rally.
The winner is who did the fastest lap and/or who was closer to the finish line. (everybody will finish but just in case )

The cars: we'll use Hummer H1, Lada Niva 4x4 and Land Rover Defender 90. One different car per stage. So you for example you choose Hummer for Fog race, then in the Night race you race with Lada or Land Rover and in the last race you have to use the one you didn't use yet. You'll find a night race, a fog race and a normal race versions of every car of the pack.


Allowed
- use Replay Handling
- You must choose a different car per stage between Hummer H1, Lada Niva and Land Rover. Since at the end everybody will race with all three cars it would be nice if most of us choose different cars for the same track.


Forbidden
- to change the camera (forbidden to press F2, F3, F4, D, C, etc.). We'll broadcast the rally so it will be easy to check if everything is ok. So, for the sake of immersion, please keep the normal F1 view with the modified dashboard.


Track explanation:

It's almost impossible to crash so almost the only reason to go back and re-drive would be if you got out of the road or turn a corner faster, that kind of things. The track has some elements but it won't have slaloms, loops or corkscrew up/down to avoid crashes. Furthermore, you won't find "sudden" corners, in order to make a fluent drive and focus on the main objetive to drive "at night" and "in fog". Luckily, you'll need to use RH only few times.

Our beloved opponent Skid Vicious tested the tracks with Hummer H1. I'm pretty sure we will do it faster in average than him.

Night & Fog dashboards
The Night race dashboard and the fog race dashboard are modifications of the car dashboard to simulate those enviroments and the only ilumination are the car lights. We can race at night and in fog!
These dashboards makes the ride a bit more difficult because of the vision is limited to car lights. The rest of the screen you can watch the track and the desert but in dark colors. Also signs like the "piano" can't be seen without the car lights. You won't find obscure elements that you can't see them comming. The fog dashboard takes all the colors to grey scale. The grass and the paved road has the same grey color so the only way to know where is the road is following the road lines which are black instead of yellow.

The rules will be the classic. You have 12 minutes to make an 8 minutes replay. Races as many laps as you can! RH is allowed but take in mind you have time for crash recovery only so make good use of it. The car is Baronetti Payback (attached here).
There will be special mentions for the fastest lap and jumps!
The track will be revealed 24 hours before the race.

How will they avoid a massacre between titans in the groups phase? I mean the pot 1 is: Canada, Mexico, 'murica, Portugal and the biggest lie ever who was leader of the FIFA world ranking for some years Belgium.

Colombia deserves a lot more than Courtois +10 team. Will we have a new world cup winner? Netherlands, is it time? Belgium? (lol).

Japan is getting stronger but still they need a lot.

Will Argentina have a world cup without a match against Mexico? Is this the world cup of Morocco?

You can make your own tier list of Stunts pipsqueaks in Zakstunts. There are some historical pipsqueaks but mostly from the last 4 years who raced more than few times.

I see those amazing graphics @dreadnaut made taking stats from replays and it makes me think. What about a graphic of monthly strength of the races by month? So an average position by month would be shown in the racer's profile.
Also we could add a participation strenght line in the same graphic showing quantity of replays by month.

Can we say this is the best terrain of the season so far?

This year Diablo, Camaro and Oxia had their winning race. We can find the last win for Lotus back in 2021 but hey! a win after all and four more wins in the previous years.

Today we have two virgin cars: Thunderbird, which had its only test in 2024 and have got a 2nd and a 3rd place in 12 races. The other car is Mercedes DTM which is bein its 4th championship and still not a single first place. The other two DTM cars of the pack had already their baptism of joy (BMW DTM once in 2021 and Audi DTM two, 2019 and 2020).

What's wrong with Mercedes? why we still don't make her debut? It's beatiful, smart, fast and well balanced with her sisters.

Ok, two years (or three) to finish this car. I must say the main idea is to build the fastest car ever. The second objective is to have a crazy fast but reliable car for special events.

This car has some records besides to be the fastest car. It's the first semi-transparent car. Also is the first and only car with a real orange paintjob.

It has an easter egg: when you crash you'll find the words "ALAN" and "ROTOI" flying away from the car. This is not the first car with this feature. When I built the Hearse car if you crash, many coffins will fly away .
